Election Day 2008

Tuesday, November 4, 2008

Although mommy and daddy didn't vote for the same candidate... we were very excited to be a party of history! Ferd went first thing this morning around 6am and was off to work by 8am. I had better luck. Just when I started to regret not bringing my stroller in the polling place... I hear, "Last names A through D!" and we moseyed our way up to the front of the line. We were in and out in 20 minutes tops. We'll be up very late tonight watching the results...

Thanks so much for sending this site. It is so good to hear how you all are doing. You guys look great and Ava is ADORABLE!! I miss you guys! Hope to see you soon.
Rebecca is finishing her 1st semester at TCC and working part time at party City. Anjelica just finished her volleyball season and is really making the most of her first year of high school. Can you BELIEVE IT? Matt will be home for Christmas and New Years and this election will determine when he will be home. They have already started to scale back the base in Fallujah and he is now living in town at the police station. which means I don't get to talk to him as often as I did when he lived on base. However he really is interacting more with the Marines and the Iraqi people
